I recently had an amazing experience at a guesthouse near the airport. The location was perfect for my New Year's holiday trip to the Durban coast. The guesthouse was situated in a safe neighborhood and was just a short drive away from OR Tambo airport. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautifully decorated bathroom. The service was top-notch, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. The guesthouse was also conveniently located near a great restaurant, allowing me to enjoy some tasty meals during my stay.

That there was no view from the room.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to the airport and easily accessible. The fact that they offered free airport transfers was a huge plus for me. It saved me the hassle and expense of arranging transportation. Another great thing about the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay, providing me with useful information and tips for my trip.

One aspect that I didn't particularly like was the noise from the overhead airplanes. It served as an alarm clock, but it was a bit disruptive for my sleep.

Great location close to airport, made it easy to get in and out of the city. Good shower pressure and clean bedding were also pluses. Value for money was reasonable.

The room was very cramped and there was nowhere to put our luggage. The fridge was old and rusty, and the kitchenette was not well-stocked.
